Welcome to the 2017 Inaugural F3 Fitness Challenge event registration This year our "In House" competition will be a partner competition with two people of the same sex. There will be RX and Scaled divisions for our members to compete in, the standards of the competition were written with CFT Athletes abilities in mind. The F3 Fitness Challenge is a great way to test your limits, excite that competitive drive and get ready for the CrossFit Open.

Registration will be open until February 3rd and will include a t-shirt.

Competition Standards:
The movements listed below are the suggested weights for reps. This means that you can use these weights in a WOD. If its your max, its too heavy.

Event WODS

Max Clean and Jerk

Team max clean and jerk 10 minute time cap -Partners alternate -Weight can be increased, but cannot be lowered -As soon as you cant complete a certain weight that partner is done, but the other partner may continue. -If you fail at a weight you get ONE retry at that weight. If you fail two times in a row, you’re done. -Score is combined max weights RX – Must perform full squat, any style of jerk Scaled – Power is allowed, any style of jerk

"Death"

RX “Death” 2 mintues max rope climbs (rig ropes) 2 minutes max calories on air dyne 2 minutes max calories on rower 2 minutes max rep burpees **Must touch crossmember at top of rope climb for rep to count Scaled “Death” 2 mintues max ground to standing (rig ropes) 2 minutes max calories on air dyne 2 minutes max calories on rower 2 minutes max rep burpees For ground to standing your shoulder blades must touch the ground at the bottom and your hips must be at full extension when you stand. Workout Notes - Only one person working at a time - Members can rotate as often as they like - Each member MUST participate in each exercise, but it doesn’t have to be even

Partner Cindy

Partner Cindy 20 minute AMRAP RX 800 meter run with KB (53/35) -then- 5 pullups 10 pushups 15 air squats **20 burpee penalty for team if the KB touches the ground** Scaled 400 meter run with KB (35/26) -then- 5 jumping pullups 10 KB swings 15 air squats **15 burpee penalty if the KB touches the ground** - Only one person working at a time (except for run) - Partners may rotate as often as they like - Score is total reps completed (each round is 30 reps) - Traditional CFT standards apply to all movements - KB may only be held at side with one hand (this will be demonstrated prior to the workout)
